GUARANTEED TRADITIONAL SPECIALITY “SKLANDRAUSIS” 

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 978/2013 (11 October 2013),
which registers the name in the Register of Guaranteed Traditional Specialities (Sklandrausis (GTS))

A Guaranteed Traditional Speciality (GTS) is a food quality scheme that characterizes a traditional food product in a specific region and protects this product and its name from imitations. When registering a product in the GTS scheme, it is necessary to prove its tradition for at least 25 years, as well as to indicate the group of producers who make this product.

At Spēlmaņu Krogs, the product “Sklandrausis” is baked according to traditional methods and has the right to use the GTS mark on its product labeling.
